About Us

Welcome to Vanlife Rentals! Our goal is for you to have a stress-free and unforgettable experiences. Our vans have one goal in mind; allow you to live off-grid without making sacrifices you'd expect from a home. They are simple, clean, reliable, and all have Instagram worthy designs. The camper conversions are all professional built with brand new vans from the dealership.

Recommendations

Vanlife Rentals has an extensive list of options and routes which we look forward to helping you plan the ultimate adventure! Denver is a great starting location, giving you endless options to explore the Rocky Mountains, National Parks, road trip to Moab for mountain biking, head south for the sand dunes, or plan your Ikon/Epic multi ski resort adventure through Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.

No matter who you rent with, download the “iOverlander” app. It has a massive amount of information on free parking spots, filter through free campsites, sites with hookups, RV parks, and much more. You can find out where to fill up propane, where to find water sources, etc. I use it every time I am traveling to a new location.

Other things to note

We love our van, but also recognize they come with limitations you may not be used to with vanlife. We highlight what you may not be used to with a campervan below:

Embrace minimalism: We recommend you pack light (backpacks and duffle bags, not suitcases). Although we have more storage than most Class B vehicles, you will be surprised at how quickly you fill it.

Get used to tiny living: The ceilings are 6'5" tall and the bed is about 5" shorter than a normal queen. Showering and going to the bathroom is a bit less comfortable than you may be used to and if you are over 6' tall, you may need to sleep at a slight angle to be comfortable.

Stay clean: It's surprising how much dirt we carry with us. We recommend keeping your shoes in the cubbies or front of the van, keeping the floors clean, and changing into fresh clothes when you go to bed for the most comfortable trip.

Power and water are essential: Although our van is built for off-grid boondocking, you should still be aware of your electrical and water consumption. Be conservative with water and do not use any appliances rated above 2,000 watts (e.g. no hair dryers). Also, check the battery power once per day and make sure the batteries do not fall below 20% as they may be damaged if they do.
